Donations

The Gogebic Range Trail Authority welcomes donations of any size

Most of our funding is distributed by the DNR (divided among all the clubs in Michigan) from trail permit revenues and a very small percentage of the gas tax. Our State funding doesn't always keep up with rising expenses or cover expenses in full. For example, the GRTA must pay for all major equipment repairs up front. We are only reimbursed 75% of the total cost (after the first $1000 deductible) by the DNR.

Donations we receive will go towards the following: building utilities (gas & electric), building & equipment insurance, fuel and machine maintenance, repairs & supplies (fluids, parts, etc.).
