Michigan Trail Permits
Permits are required, by State law, for all snowmobiles operating in the State of Michigan.
Michigan trail permits can be purchased online from the Michigan Snowmobile Association (MSA) or through a local MSA permit agent.

Report Trail Sign Theft/Damage to the DNR
Every year we spend significant time and money replacing missing or damaged signs on our trail system. Unfortunately, every year more signs are broken or stolen.
Proper signing of trails is critical to everyone's safety. If you witness any sign theft or damage, please report it to the DNR toll free at 800-292-7800. Information may be left anonymously.
